Having had a number of discharge consent failures and needing an aeration upgrade to provide increased treatment capacity, a UK water company went through a detailed selection process to evaluate the different aeration options on the basis of lowest whole-life cost.

Corgin triumphed in the end with the lowest whole-life cost solution and an order was placed for modern Rotex Brush Aerators. The scope also included compliance with a stringent list of requirements from the water company’s operations team to improve accessibility and to make ongoing servicing of the asset even easier.
