“YTL Group are the engineering & construction arm which delivers many Wessex Waters AMP Improvement Schemes which is also part of the YTL Group. Part of the AMP8 delivery [at Wessex Water Poole] requires demolition of two old secondary digester at Poole WRC which still has settled sludge within them. After endeavouring to use a pump to provide mixing, which kept blocking, we needed to find an alternative solution to mix the sludge to allow sampling to find a polymer product for centrifuge dewatering plant.

After a discussion with local operations manager who recommend that a floating aerator might give us the possible solution, we got in touch with Corgin. Once the PO was in place we had delivery and install within a week, everybody involved from office, site install team, external Hiab and generator provider delivered without fuss or drama and within an hour the tank was put into suspension which allowed the polymer provider to test and offer us a suitable product.
