Details of Subscription Cover

1. Intermediate Service Check and Report

An Intermediate Service Check involves site attendance by a qualified engineer who will perform the following from the closest land-based access point to the aerator/s:

• Visually check aeration plume and flow characteristics
• Visually check aerator/s for obvious damage or debris build-up
• Visual and auditory check for abnormal vibration
• Auditory check for uncharacteristic noise
• Visual and auditory check of motor operation
• Visually check aerator/s assembly mountings and staybar
• Visually check mounting bracket if fitted
• Visually check fixing bar if fitted
• Visually check mooring ropes, mooring post and winch if fitted
• Visually check float assembly and buoyancy
• Visually check impeller angle
• Visually check impeller immersion
• Check supply voltage and motor current draw in MCC if accessible
• Inspection of the relevant equipment maintenance records

This will be followed by an itemised report recording results of all the above checks.

2. Full Access Service Check and Report

A Full Access Service Check involves site attendance by a qualified engineer who will:

• Gain access alongside the aerator/s by boat, access platform, scaffold or other approved means of access
• Perform all the checks detailed in ‘Routine Service Check’ above, from close-by to the equipment
• Check and clean motor air intake pipe
• Check and clean motor fan cowl
• Check impeller and de-rag if required
• Check/tighten assembly mountings, staybars and/or vibration absorbers and if fitted, mounting bracket, fixing bar, mooring ropes, mooring post and winch
• Inspect motor electrical terminals and cable glands at the nearest accessible junction box, subject to receiving client permission to lock-off electrical supplies
• Check supply voltage and motor current draw at the nearest accessible junction box, where authorised and subject to receiving client permission to lock-off electrical supplies

This will be followed by an itemised report recording results of all the above checks complete with photographs.

3. Emergency Callouts

An ‘Emergency Callout’ is invoked in the event of a disabling failure caused by a design defect or ‘fair wear and tear’. Our aim is to have an engineer attend site to assess the cause of the failure within 24-48 hours. The cost of any replacement parts and the associated installation costs will be chargeable.

4. Bearing Stress Check and Report

The ‘Bearing Stress Check’ uses sophisticated acoustic emission sensor technology to determine both the decibel reading (noise) and the distress reading on all accessible bearings. The distress reading gives early warning of potential bearing failure or lubrication issues – long before a detectable increase in decibels. The report shows previous results so that trends can be monitored.

5. Biennual Bearing Replacement

This involves removing and replacing all bearings on a biennial basis (every two years). The aerator/s will need to be removed from site for this work to be carried out. All access, lifting and other equipment is included.

6. Proactive Telephone Support By Corgin's Customer Care Team

This is provided as standard with any CarePlan subscription. A member of our friendly Customer Care Team will keep in touch by telephone and email, to monitor your level of satisfaction with the equipment’s operation and performance.

7. Full Access Service Carried Out Outside of Normal Business Hours

Subscription prices are based on all site attendances being during ‘normal business hours’ (defined as 08:00-17:00, Mon-Fri). Including this option in your subscription will give you the flexibility of full access services being carried out in after-hours daylight hours, during weekends or on public holidays, if the nature of your site operations requires this.

8. Extended Guarantee

This option normally covers all parts and labour associated with ‘fair wear and tear’ and design defects, and is available exclusively on Platinum subscriptions. The exact scope, showing inclusions and exclusions, are agreed on a project-by-project basis.
