Oxidation Ditch Aerators & Aeration

Oxidation ditches are circular or oval-shaped channels where wastewater is aerated and mixed to promote the growth of microorganisms that break down organic matter. Annulus tanks, on the other hand, are designed to facilitate the separation of solids from liquids, often using a central clarifier surrounded by an outer ring where the treated water is collected. Both systems play a crucial role in efficiently treating wastewater by enhancing biological processes and ensuring the removal of contaminants.
