This involves a thorough service of the unit to optimise system performance, including, but not limited to, checking and cleaning the tank and filters; checking the trailer chassis, wheels, lights and wiring; checking the nozzles and pipework, and servicing the engine by cleaning/changing filters and changing the oil. Powered access equipment is included where required. All services will be followed by a detailed report.
An ‘Emergency Callout’ is invoked in the event of a disabling system failure or malfunction caused by a design fault or ‘fair wear and tear’ of the system components. In respect of nozzle blockages, a disabling system failure or malfunction is constituted by the blockage of ≥20% of total nozzles or 6 consecutive nozzles. We aim to have an engineer attend within 24-48 hours. Emergency Callouts due to other causes (e.g. contaminated water supply, lack of maintenance, negligence, fire, flood, frost, vandalism or any other cause not attributable to Corgin) will be chargeable.
Corgin systems are designed according to the HSE's HSG274 part 3 document with respect to the prevention of Legionella contamination, therefore Legionella risk is considered low. However, it is recommended to have your system tested at least every 6 months, especially if it has been inoperative for any period of time. On each occasion we will purge and disinfect the system, taking water samples both before and after. Both samples will undergo laboratory tests and a subsequent report will be issued on receipt of the test results; this is usually within 2-4 weeks. Please note, you are required to assess your site-specific risks and if more frequent testing is required, this can be quoted extra on request.
All system services include the replacement of ‘fair wear and tear’ components (i.e. filters, ‘o’-rings, seals, bulbs etc.). A full system service also includes refurbishment of up to 50% of the nozzles using new or refurbished tips, if required. If a service visit reveals the need for replacement of any more major system components (and unless your subscription includes system spares) then you will be advised, quoted and charged accordingly.
This includes replacement of pump seals and an oil change on an annual basis. Pump pistons which need replacement will be charged extra unless your subscription includes replacement of system spares.
This option means that you are covered for replacement of all system parts and components, with the exception of the trailer chassis, tank and mast (where fitted), as may become necessary over time due either to a fault or due to fair wear and tear. If it is proven that parts or components have been damaged or caused to fail due to other causes (e.g. contaminated water supply, negligence, fire, flood, frost, vandalism or any other cause not attributable to Corgin) then these will be chargeable extra at competitive rates.
Offered with the Platinum and Platinum Plus subscriptions only, this service can be carried out on request by a Corgin technician during a routine service visit only. The technician will assess the processes or operations on site, identify key odour sources and/or emission points, take a downwind olfactory assessment, correlate the findings to the actual sources, and document it all in a subsequent report.
This is provided as standard with any CarePlan subscription. A member of our friendly Customer Care Team will keep in touch by telephone and email, to monitor neutraliser usage and your level of satisfaction with the system’s general performance.
This service includes checking the operation of the lights, checking the wheels for loose nuts, damaged hubs and bearing wear, checking the tyre pressures and tyre wear, checking and adjusting the braking mechanisms and lubricating the linkages, checking the security of the axle and hitch mounting bolts, greasing the overrun coupling and lubricating the jockey wheel. All services will be followed by a detailed report.
This includes the complete replacement of the engine and pump, as may be required from time-to-time on high usage sites.
Subscription prices are based on all site attendances being during ‘normal business hours’ (defined as 08:00-17:00, Mon-Fri). However, incorporating this option into your subscription will give you the additional flexibility of requesting service work to be carried out during the night, during weekends or public holidays, if the nature of your site operations requires this.
Where shown as an inclusion, we will cover the cost of hire of any powered access equipment as may be required for Full Service visits only. In our experience it is unlikely for powered access equipment to be required for Intermediate Service or Emergency Callout visits, however if this were to be the case we could quote and arrange accordingly at the time.
