Hillhead 2022 is a three-day event running from Tuesday, 21st June to Thursday, 23rd June 2022.

Great news! After a four-year, COVID-enforced hiatus, the Hillhead Exhibition is back this summer.

Where Is Hillhead 2022 to Be Held?

Hillhead 2022 will be located at the familiar Hillhead Quarry, Harpur Hill, Buxton, Derbyshire, SK17 9PR.

What Is Hillhead 2022?

Hillhead is the UK’s largest showcase event for the quarrying, construction and recycling sectors. Being held in a live quarry and hosting dozens of working equipment demonstrations, it is also the largest exhibition of its kind anywhere in the world. Given its scale, vibrant atmosphere and picturesque setting, it provides a unique experience for visitors.

After a four-year absence and given the current buoyancy in the UK construction sector, it is no surprise to see that the event organiser’s recent press release that this year’s event will host more than 600 exhibitors for the first time. This makes 2022 officially the largest Hillhead Quarry Exhibition ever. Don’t miss the chance to be part of this great experience!

Where Will Corgin Be at Hillhead 2022?

Corgin will be exhibiting at Hillhead 2022 on Stand W15, where you can talk to our friendly and experienced team. As in previous years, we will also be running live demonstrations of our dust suppression equipment. Keep an eye out for the exciting new products we will be launching this year.

This is a unique opportunity to see first hand how effective our equipment is at suppressing dust generated by the live equipment demonstrations!

Hillhead 2018

Hillhead 2018, which is a global showpiece for the quarrying, construction and recycling industries, occurred from Tuesday 26th - Thursday 28th June 2018.

Hillhead 2018 broke all records hosting 546 exhibitors and receiving 19,687 visitors

Corgin Dust Suppression

Corgin have been at every Hillhead event since 2012.

At Hillhead 2018, we had a bigger presence than ever. We demonstrated our MistCannon Integral and DustLayer as we have done previously and for the first time, we also showed off our MistCannon Ranger, which is the newest addition to our MistCannon family. Meanwhile at Stand W9 we had an AtomisterAiro nozzle running, along with a display of our Odour Neutraliser consumables.

DustLess Dust Suppressant

DustLess, long-term dust suppression solution, will also be in action this year at Hillhead

But the real star of Corgin’s show was our new, innovative DustLess dust suppressant. A 40-metre section of the aisle close to Stand W9 was treated with DustLess some three weeks prior to the event; it proved its incredible durability by surviving not only the rigours of the event construction phase, but also unnecessary heavy watering by the site bowser that was conducting its conventional means of dust suppression of the entire site. DustLess is designed to eliminate the need for such continuous watering of traffic areas, such that the effects of a single application will last up to 9 months! Needless to say, especially given the current spell of prolonged dry weather and looming water shortages in some areas, this product has generated considerable interest. During the show week we airfreighted in more supplies from the factory in USA to help fulfil existing orders urgently and since then, a further container load of product has been ordered in a bid to keep abreast of burgeoning demand.
