On Thursday 22nd May 2025, Corgin hosted a Team Challenge Day for Severn Trent to aid them in preparing for the US WEFTEC event at the end of the year.
"Fantastic opportunity for networking, idea sharing, learning, and just generally building up that culture."
The event was hosted at the Wolves Molineux Stadium with access to excellent facilities and catering, as well as board rooms for the opportunity to break away from the main event.
As Kirk Jones mentions, "During my day to day role I [work with] a lot of people I talk to, but don't put a face to as well. So it's been really nice to go and see them, have those conversations, and actually meet them in person."
The event was an excellent opportunity to network, collaborate and connect. In the words of Chris Giles, Head of Wastewater Recycling at Severn Trent, "This has been a really good event to connect with people from across Severn Trent and our supply chain."
"We've looked after everything from registration, through to ushering, and the catering. We've got AV [audio/visual], and we've got separate board rooms so they can actually carry on with their day work here, running their meetings, and then they'll be popping into the networking event as well."
It was a day enjoyed by all those who attended from Severn Trent, as well as suppliers who came to showcase their stands.
As Matt Cope said, "...the food's been really good, they're good hosts, very well organised, and very friendly..."
Thank you to all those who attended and who made the event as great as it was. The Corgin team can't wait to host you for future events and get the chance to speak to you all again.
