Advanced Membranes

FlexAir Disc Diffuser membranes incorporate advanced technologies for superior aeration performance and reliability. They have an integral triple check valve to prevent backflow of wastewater into the diffusers and piping. Membranes can be manufactured using EPDM, PTFE (Teflon), Silicone, Viton and Polyurethane, with both laminated and coated options available for superior long-life performances. A number of perforation options are available to optimize pressure drop and oxygen transfer efficiency.

Range of Sizes

These diffusers are available in 7″ (178 mm), 9″ (230 mm), 12″ (305 mm) diameters. The 9” diffuser is also available with premium quality ceramic diffusers, suitable for continuous aeration applications where maximum asset life is required.
